I started my drag career in 1989 at Palladium here in Wilmington, NC. After about 3 months of doing guest spots, I won talent show at Mickey Ratz. I moved over to Mickey Ratz and worked there for about 13 years (1989-2002).
During that time, I moved up to hosting the shows on Fri and Sun nights. In the mid 90s I worked with Mr. Charlie Brown in Atlanta at Backstreet in the Big Girl Revue show.
In 2002 I moved to Ibiza where I was the hostess for Tara’s Allstar Show until 2008 when I became the hostess for Friday Night Follies. Also have a documentary named The Dixie Queen about my life doing drag in a southern town.
A Wilmington native, I started my career in 1999 in Greenville, NC while attending college at ECU. I quickly fell in love with the art form of female illusion while working at the Paddock Club and captured the title of Miss Greenville America in 2002. After competing for the title of Miss NC America twice and traveling extensively for several years throughout the Carolinas I decided to give the high heels a break and focus on my career in Cosmetology Education. I’ve recently returned to the stage and housecast at Ibiza where I work with some very talented entertainers.
